HTC announced Desire 510, A budget 4G smartphone

The Taiwanese Smartphone manufacturer HTC is launching their phones very frequently.
The next big frontier for HTC is the mid-range space, and the
company has been tirelessly at work with the Desire line of
smartphones. We’ve already reviewed some this year, but that
doesn’t mean HTC isn’t looking to provide more variety to the
market. Today, the company has gone official with its LTE-capable
Desire 510 phone.
The phone centers around the LTE capabilities, as that’s a bit of a
first for this genre of smartphones. Only a select few of the top-end
of smartphones around the world are able to access the 4G speeds,
says HTC’s Peter Chou, so why not let those with phones not as
capable access these airwaves as well? That’s exactly what’s
happened with the HTC Desire 510.
The Deisre 510 supports Cat. 4 LTE, a 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm
Snapdragon 400 processor, and other decent mid-range specs such
as 8GB of on-board memory (with a microSD expansion slot). It
also ships with a flavor of Android 4.4 KitKat with Sense 6 atop it,
so that means you’ll find signature HTC enhancements such as
BlinkFeed. There’s also support here for HTC’s Dot View case.
The Desire 510 is available in Terra White and Meridian Grey, and
availability will start in September. Specific dates and prices will be
announced by regional carriers.
