Sony's Selfies Smartphone The Xperia C3 makes its way to Asia.

Sony has officially announced Xperia C3, its new selfie
focused smartphone in India at Rs 23,990. The phone will be
available starting September 1 in black, white and mint colour
variants.
The dual-sim smartphone features a 5MP wide-angle front camera
(25mm with 80 degree field of view), accompanied by a soft flash.
According to Sony, users can click selfies by simply double tapping
the back cover or using the phone's Smile Shutter. It claims that
pictures are automatically adjusted for suitable lighting conditions
and the auto scene recognition function, which works together with
HDR and LED flash, ensures that users can capture enhanced selfies
and selfie videos in all light conditions. The phone is also pre-loaded
with selfie camera apps such as Portrait Retouch and AR effect.
Sony Xperia C3 features a 5.5-inch HD TRILUMINOS Display for
mobile(720x1280p).
It is powered by a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon quad-core
processor and 1GB RAM and comes with 8GB internal storage and a
microSD card slot that supports cards of up to 32GB capacity. It
runs Android 4.4 KitKat.
The dual-sim phone sports an 8MP rear camera with Sony Exmor
RS for mobile image sensor and a pulsed LED flash. It is capable of
full-HD video recording.
The phone has a 2500mAh battery with claimed talk time of up to 24
hours and standby time of up to 1071 hours.
In terms of connectivity options, the Xperia C3 offers Bluetooth 4.0,
3G, Wi-Fi and 4G LTE.
